OVACIK/HISARONU
Originally the two villages of Ovacik and Hisaronu were entirely separate. Their increase in popularity as many tourists both foreign and Turkish discovered this beautiful area has resulted in the two effectively growing into one.

Ovacik’s stunning mountain setting provides amazing views and a welcome and cooling breeze in the hot summer months when temperatures can climb to heady heights. A 20-25 minute pleasant level stroll through Ovacik past olive and fig groves will lead you to Hisaronu. However, Ovacik’s numerous bars, excellent restaurants and shops may well prove an irresistible and pleasant distraction.

In Hisaronu you will find travel agents offering a vast array of tours and activities including boat trips, jeep safaris, coach tours, horse riding, microlight flights, paragliding, white water rafting, scuba diving (learner and advanced) or alternatively a relaxing ‘Hamam’ or Turkish bath. You can also book many excursions through your holiday representative.

Hisaronu is renowned for it’s lively nightlife due to it’s many bars and restaurants. However, it is an extremely friendly place where rowdiness hasn’t reared it’s ugly head. Whilst there are now 2 nightclubs in the resort many of the bars are open through to the early hours and have dance floors of their own. If you choose to and have the stamina you can dance and party until sunrise! Alternatively there are also a range of bars and restaurants that will enable you to have a relaxing, enjoyable and peaceful time…..the choice is yours!
